Street or no street! This is the question ...
Many photography friends are familiar with my critical point of view on “Street Photography”: I don't understand the need for this definition, for this label.
For me, "Street Photography" does not exist. Because?
Because sometimes it seems to me that with "Street Photography" you want to justify laziness: you leave the house, walk twenty meters and start shooting without having an idea in mind, you immortalize everything that may seem curious or interesting to us ... from the deplorable photos stolen from those who are worse off than us (to give an insubstantial affectation of social attention) to the grotesque.
Because if I leave the house, walk twenty meters and start photographing with a very specific idea in mind, with a Project, when I'm certainly doing Reportage, I easily have the release forms behind them and I also interact humanly with my subjects.
